Each person who works in your BCL account should have their own login. You add them on the **Team Members** page and choose what they can do. Only admins can add team members.

## Add a member

Have the person's name and email address ready, then:

1. Click your company name at the bottom of the sidebar to open the Account Menu.
2. Under **Team**, click **Team Member**. The **Team Members** page lists everyone in your account.
3. Click **Add Team Member**.
4. Under **Account Details**, fill in **Name**, **Email** and, if you like, **Mobile Number**.
5. Choose a **User Role**: **Admin**, **Team** or **Crew Event**. See [Team roles and permissions](/team-roles/).
6. For the **Team** role, choose one or more **Portal Key** values and a **Require Portal Key** setting. This decides which Bayarcash portal their sales go to. See [Choose a Bayarcash portal key](/bayarcash-portal-key/).
7. Set a **Password** of at least 8 characters.
8. For the **Team** and **Crew Event** roles, turn on the permissions this person needs.
9. Click **Create**.

BCL shows **Member added**. Give the person their email and password so they can sign in.

## Change or remove a member

Each member's row on **Team Members** has these actions:

- **Edit** to change their details, role or permissions.
- **View Details** to see their role, portal keys and permissions.
- **Change Password** to set a new password for them.
- **Magic Login** to create, view or revoke a sign-in link that needs no password.
- **Remove** to delete their login. BCL asks you to confirm first.

The **2FA** column shows who has turned on two-factor sign-in.

## Common issues

### Why can't I remove a team member?

BCL does not delete a member who has live payment transactions, so your sales records stay complete. The team owner and your own login cannot be removed either.

### My staff forgot their password. What do I do?

Open Team Member, open the actions menu on their row and choose Change Password. You can also choose Magic Login to create a sign-in link that needs no password.

### Which role should I give my staff?

Admin for someone who runs the whole account, Team for staff who handle only what you allow, and Crew Event for people who only check in event attendees. See Team roles and permissions (/team-roles/).
