Export your transactions

You can download your transactions as an Excel (.xlsx) file to use in your accounts or share with your team. Export from the Transactions page to cover all forms, or from one form’s transactions page to include that form’s custom fields.

Export from the Transactions page

This exports transactions from all your forms and payment links:

1. In the sidebar, click Transactions.
2. Choose a status tab and set any filters. The export follows them. See Find a transaction.
3. Click Export All.
4. Tick the columns you want under Transaction Details, Payer Information, Item Details and Affiliate Information. Affiliate columns are off by default.
5. Click Submit.

To export only some rows, tick them in the table and choose Export Selected instead.

Export one form’s transactions

A form’s own transactions page adds that form’s custom fields to the export:

1. Go to Payments > Forms.
2. Open the actions menu on the form and choose Transactions. The page opens in a new tab.
3. Pick a status tab if you want only one status, then click Export All.
4. Tick the columns you want. If the form has custom fields, they are in the Custom Fields group.
5. Click Submit.

Event forms also have a Participant Details group, with attendees combined per order line. For one row per attendee, export from the Participants page.

Large exports

Up to 1,000 transactions download straight away. For more than that, BCL prepares the file in the background:

1. A progress bar at the top of the page shows how many transactions are done. You can leave the page while it runs.
2. When it finishes, click Download in the progress bar, or in the notification BCL sends you.

Common issues

My export has no custom field answers. How do I include them?

The export on the Transactions page leaves out custom fields. Export from the form's own transactions page instead, where a Custom Fields group appears. For per-participant event fields, export from the Participants page.

I clicked Export All and nothing downloaded. What happened?

Exports of more than 1,000 transactions run in the background. Watch the progress bar at the top of the page, then click Download when it finishes. BCL also sends you a notification.

Why does BCL say Export already running?

You can run one large export at a time. Wait for the current one to finish, then start the next.
