Register paying customers for Zoom

With Zoom connected, every customer who pays on your form is registered for your Zoom meeting or webinar, and Zoom sends them their joining link. You set this up once in Zoom, once in BCL, and then on each form.

Create a Zoom app

You need a Zoom account that can create apps in the Zoom App Marketplace.

1. Sign in at marketplace.zoom.us and click Develop > Build App.

2. Choose Server to Server OAuth App and click Create. Give the app a name.

   

3. On App Credentials, copy the Account ID, Client ID and Client Secret, then click Continue.

4. Fill in the required Information and click Continue.

5. On Scopes, click Add Scopes and add these six scopes:

   • meeting:read:list_meetings:admin
   • meeting:write:registrant:admin
   • meeting:write:batch_registrants:admin
   • webinar:read:list_webinars:admin
   • webinar:write:registrant:admin
   • webinar:write:batch_registrants:admin

   

6. Click Continue, then activate the app.

Connect Zoom to BCL

Keep the three credentials from Zoom to hand.

1. Go to Platform Setup > Integration and open the Zoom tab.
2. Turn on Enable Zoom Integration.
3. Paste the Account ID, Client ID and Client Secret.
4. Click Save Zoom Configuration.

Add the meeting to your form

In Zoom, schedule the meeting or webinar with Registration ticked as Required. Zoom only accepts registrations for events that require registration.

1. Go to Payments > Forms and open the form.
2. Click Advanced, then the Zoom Integration tab.
3. Turn on Enable Zoom Integration.
4. Choose the Zoom Event Type: Meeting or Webinar.
5. Pick the event under Select Meeting or Select Webinar. Use the refresh button if a new event is missing.
6. Click Save Advanced Settings.

Event forms have the same Zoom Integration tab under Advanced.

Common issues

My meeting does not appear in the Select Meeting list. Why?

Check that the meeting has Registration set to Required in Zoom, then click the refresh button next to Select Meeting. Also check your Zoom app has the meeting scopes and is activated.

Can I run a free Zoom webinar sign-up without payment?

Use a lead form for free sign-ups. The Zoom integration on payment and event forms registers customers after a successful payment.
